If the answer is ‘yes’ then the online drawing course ‘Keep Growing’ is definitely something for you. I’m known for my playful and easy way of drawing and I love to show you how you can do it too.

In the course I’ll show you how to start making beautiful sketches. I’m sure you’re able to draw the storefront, flower scooter and orangery too (with a little help from me). We start each object with a pencil sketch, then we work it out with a pen and finally, we’re going to colour the illustration.

What are we going to do?
If you want, you can start with the free trial lesson in which we’ll draw a cosy flower cart. Then you already have a bit of an idea of what we’re going to do. See it as a warm-up, so that we can get off to a good start with this fun course! As an introduction, I’ll love to give you some drawing tips, which I’ll do while we practice drawing all kinds of flowers and plants. Then we get to work with the beautiful storefront, the cheerful flower scooter and the graceful orangery.

For who is it?
The course is for anyone who likes to draw and sketch. Are you just starting to draw or have been for a while; It does not matter! We’re not going to draw in perspective, but with handy tips from me and the use of shadows, we’ll still add depth to the drawings.

Drawing materials
During the course ‘Keep Growing’ I always use the same set of materials. To be able to participate in the course, it’s useful that you also use these materials or similar ones. Detailed information can be found below in the ‘Course Curriculum’ under the videos ‘Drawing materials’ and ‘Colour palette’. In my set is a mechanical pencil with eraser for the first sketches. I sketch on mixed media / watercolour paper in A5 (5.8 x 8.3 inch) and A6 (4.1 x 5.8 inch). I then work out the pencil sketches with a waterproof brush pen and/or fineliner. In terms of colour I have selected a pallet of 8 colours of watercolour paint witch I use with a fine watercolour brush.

ProCreate
Although in the course I don’t teach digital drawing, you can also participate very well on an iPad or graphics tablet.
